My Sunday Lunch

17/12/2014

No need to talk and write about sex all the time, there are some other naughty things which I like as well.
Let's talk about food.  Thought I share my Chilli Garlic Prawn Pasta recipe with all the people who like hot stuff

2-3 Serves

Cook the Spaghetti until tender. Drain. Cover to keep them warm.
Same time heat oil in a deep frying pan or wok ( which I prefer) over medium heat. Add the chilli, garlic and salt. Cook, stir, for 1 to 2 minutes or until fragrant. Add the prawns. Cook, stirring, for 3 to 4 minutes til the prawns cooked through. Add pasta, lemon juice and parsley to pan. Cook, tossing, for 1 minute or until combined and prawns are cooked through. Serve drizzled with oil.

  • 200 - 300 g Spaghetti
  • 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon dried Chilli flakes ( or 2-3 fresh Chillis sliced finely)
  • 1/4 Ghost Chilli ( only for people who like it really really hot )
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  •  500 g green prawns, peeled
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley leaves
  • Extra virgin olive oil, to serve
